On the Congo River where we were, there was entertainment at a small but nice place with drinks and food... this picture is of a traditional dance with music. Was excellent!

We made it!

We made it! After traveling from Dulles airport, via Brussels, via Cameroon to Kinshasa, DR Congo... we made it on time and safely.

It's a small world... so we are about to get on the SN Brussels flight leaving Brussels airport in Belgium and I hear someone calling "Gillian, Gillian"... well, it's turns out it's a great friend, Marianne, from Wash, DC (she designed my company website). She is from Belgium and was at the airport traveling back to DC after a week visit to see her new niece and family. It was great to see a familiar face!

So, here are a couple early pics of travels and the arrival. More to come...
